Everything is already there. In abundance. 

 

Beauty does not need to be invented. It is already there. 

 

The materials, the elements, the knowledge, the sources and resources, the story and history, the perception, the smells, the shapes, the finishes. 

 

It just needs to be made visible. 

 

It is our task and passion to observe and to listen. 

 

Sometimes, it is just a matter of putting together everything we know, in a different way than what we have seen before. 

 

That way the ordinary, which we already know, becomes something extraordinary of the future. 

 

The great advantage of empathy is, that it allows us to understand another human being. When we communicate, our opinions may differ, we may disagree on many views. 

 

We can allow each other to be and to be understood. 

 

To understand, is the first step to be closer, without enclosing or dominating. It provides more opportunities and directions to create something for each other and with each other. 

 

Respecting another view and not just tolerating it, means that we can also query our own beliefs, our own ideas and concepts, and test them against the ever-changing patterns of contemporary lifestyle and the influence of technology. 

 

By working on the basis of empathy, and building understanding, we can create solid, yet flexible structures, which are formed to be fit for a particular purpose at one time and allow adaption to the unknown changes of the future. 

 

For this we need to start with understanding the conditions, the constraints, the reactions and the consequences. 

 

For this we need to start with the human being. 

 

For this we need to start with nature.
